It feels like 'almost Spring'

This is the table arrangement I made yesterday when I had Moira, her staff of 3 and Blanche (Moira's mother-in-law) for lunch. I bought the roses from Kelowna Rose Gardens. I like to support our local growers instead of someone on the other side of the ocean! That's my special butterfly rock made by one of my special sisters! Happy Spring!

Those colors are beautiful together. Orange and blue are complimentary colors, so they really pop when you put them together. I'm glad you support local flower growers -- are they really growing roses in December in Kelowna? Must be in a greenhouse, eh?

Nice table and table runner -- and rock -- by the way.

Yes they really grow roses in Kelowna in winter...they have a huge green house on Rutland Rd. just down from my little green heritage house. You can see it on their website. The runner was made by Roma and the rock of course is Margaret's work.
'til next time.

MaryBeth, I'm hoping they'll last too. I have 3 friends coming this morning for knitting, crocheting and lunch. Boo hoo! One of the roses was wilted this morning so I cut it under water and put sugar in it. Time will tell.
