Here are 4 more pics from today. While Tommy was off to work my friend Prim and I went for lunch at our local Post Haus Pub.
Today being garbage and recycling day the roads were lined with garbage cans and 'blue bags
'. Not very pretty but just a part of our day. As you can see my back yard needs help and Maureen is working on a plan for it. That's our cherry tree in it's winter dress, dead grass, a patch of snow and some green green grass. The last picture I took up in the orchard area too. The willow trees are showing signs of Spring with their golden yellow branches. That's a frozen pond behind them. Beautiful!

Nice to see parts of your day, Mom. I love the way willows get so bright gold this time of year -- it's like they're tired of the winter drabs too. The yellow pigments are like green chlorophyll in that they function in the plants, to make nutrients from the sunshine too. so do the red pigments you see brightening on dogwoods in late winter.
Looks like a fine day for you there!
