Spring has sprung
These are the first flowers to bloom in my garden this Spring. These two pics were taken in early monring. Later I'll show the mid-day version. That is Bergenia with the purple tulips.

Beautiful, Mom!! it looks like things have grown even since this past weekend when we were there. i have pondered the discrepancy between your garden and mine, and come to the conclusion that, even though it is colder in Kelowna, when the sun comes out it is really warm, and comes out for longer periods of time than here. we also had a very wet winter in the Lower Rainland, and plants are still recovering from that. my bleeding heart is about 6" high, and my bergenia isn't even going to bloom (again!). oh well...
