And The Work Goes On

Kyle is scrubbing the deck in preparation for staining.

tTommy is building a 2 ft square box to plant the golden hops in near the second deck. Kyle is filling in with soil to even out the area that will remain in grass.

You are going to have the best yard on the mountain when it is all finished. It really is shaping up to be nice, good work!

I think you are going to have the best yard in Kelowna when you're done...you should definitely put it on the garden tour next year when you have all the planting done. The boys are getting very excited about coming up there in June, although we are not yet "counting sleeps!"

Do you really think so? Tommy and I like it and so does everyone who sees it. BTW it is going to be on the 'Open Gradens Tour' in August. This is for garden club members. So we have lots more work to do!!!

I agree, Mom - your garden must be the best in Kelowna. It's beautiful. You're lucky to have Tommy and Kyle working on it with you. We're also looking forward to the end of June, when we will get to use the decks with everyone else.

btw, we're having trouble finding an affordable motel or hotel ... any ideas, anyone? (besides camping on the decks) ;-)
