To the Summit

Today we hiked with our friends Greg, Erin and Tanner to the summit of Hollyburn Mountain, just a 20 minute drive from our house. The hike took us past a very confused looking newt, zillions of blueberries, and some very large bear poo products, and over some really fun granite slabs as we approached the summit.

Oliver hiked almost the entire way up, and had some help on the way down (he actually fell asleep in the backpack carrier!) . We did the same hike last year, and hope to make it an annual outing.
