Sea Holly

This is a very cool plant blooming in my garden called Eryngium Giganteum "Miss Wilmott's Ghost." The variety was named for a gardener named Miss Wilmott who, it is said, made a habit of carrying seeds of this plant in her pocket and surreptiously sprinkling them into other peoples' gardens that she was visiting, thereby leaving her "ghost" behind. It is a biennial, which means it has a life cycle that normally takes two growing seasons to complete...definitely worth waiting for! Would anyone care for some seeds??!!
