Olympic spirit
The Olympic torch went through our community today, starting at the top of our driveway! The flame arrived in a van accompanied by a lot of other vans, police, sponsor trucks and the media. Look for use on t.v. tonight. We cheered the first runner on, then after going through Bowser, it stopped at the Elementary school so the kids could all see it.
It is definitely a good way to get the Olympic spirit going across the Province. If it comes to your community, hope you get the chance to participate. Brittany was here this am and she will see it end in Campbell River this afternoon.

Brittany, you look like a real Canadian! Great pictures Margie. Mine didn't turn out as good because when the torch went through Ladysmith, it was getting too dark.
