I borrowed The Road from the library as audiotapes as well, but haven't had the time to listen. Is it really that good? I just finished Midwives by Chris Bohjalian and thought that was good also. Just started Cold Mountain................

I recently read Midwives too Moira and really liked it. I'm just going to start "The Friday Night Knitting Club" by Kate Jacobs. Tootsie told me about that one.
