Nicholas the Fish

This is a short movie of Nicholas swimming in his first swim meet (mine too!) with his swim club, the West Vancouver Otters. In this heat, he is doing one length of the pool (25m) against 2 other swimmers who are in the same category as him (he has since been bumped up to the next category!). He also did the backstroke and the breaststroke events. It was certainly a lot of sitting around in a hot and steamy environment for approximately 1.5 minutes of excitement spread out over 3 hours. Afterwards, we got to attend Nicholas' soccer in the cold pouring rain...there were rivers running across the gravel field...argh!
