Mouse

When we moved a wood pile yesterday on Lincoln Creek Ranch we found a mouse nest from which 11 mice scattered. Pahokee helped me catch this one.

Poor little Hunca Munca looks like he's praying for his life. I hope you let him go!

Ahhhh! Must be a girl! She's too cute for a boy. Did you let it go?

Hunca Munca was released unharmed but with a small amount of saliva from Pahokee on him. The rest of the mice escaped into a nearby pile of irrigation pipes. I guess it was probably an incredible spiritual experience for them to be visited by weird monsters from the sky.

And bitey...

Hunca Munca #1 did not become bitey until after Dad learned that Hunca Munca #1 was squeaky.
